I tried to sign up to be a driver, I put in my info and I got a message saying "Your account can't be authorized". I didn't get any questions or anything, just my name, password and email, that's it! But I'm not authorized? How can I not be authorized when I didn't get any questions about my license, background check info or anything. It doesn't make sense. If you have had any issues like this please sign my petition.

I have been asking Spark support since 12/3/25 to send my check for backpay (which drivers should have received while working) and have been completely disregarded. I followed all instructions.

They sent it to the wrong address and I can’t obtain my check, I’ve explained all details to more reps then I can keep track of and have spent hours trying to receive my check. I have verified myself and emailed the correct address twice (12/3 and 12/9) with no response. I have been hung up on multiple times. I called Walmart for support today 12/28/25; that rep gave me the wrong phone numbers and told me to contact Spark for their HR department’s phone number.

When I did this I was hung up on again. The Spark rep must have been too busy with all of the noise of screaming children I could hear in the background and she kept trying to explain to me that no HR department exists. Then the Walmart rep I spoke to sent me an email with a survey. Although I opened the survey I did not fill it out, yet somehow it’s completed…..I certainly did not complete the survey to review his horrible service, where he gave me phone numbers that don’t exist.

What more can I possibly do? Why aren’t I allowed to have my check for money I earned when I delivered for Spark??? I followed all of their instructions to obtain the check. The moment I was notified this check was sent to the wrong address in the mail I contacted Spark.

When I call Spark I go around in circles and am told to do exactly what I have already done, and then the reps either hang up on me or tell me they’re talking to a level 1 or “now a level 2 account manager”, transfer me, and then they hang up on me. It doesn’t matter how polite I am, if I request to speak to someone else. It does not matter what I do; they simply refuse to send my check to the correct address. It will be voided in a week, I’m assuming that’s what they want.

It’s not even a large check but it’s income I earned and deserve.

I have spent hours attempting to resolve this and they have no interest in correcting the problem. It’s like I’m talking to fake reps because the information they give me is so ridiculous and the transferring and hanging up on me is so incredibly rude I don’t even know how to interpret these actions. What more can I possibly do? Was it not enough that I spent more on gas and wore down my vehicle at the time, accepting orders that didn’t exist; this occurred repeatedly.

I received more fake orders than real. I even went shopping to have the orders cancelled while on my way to the locations with a car load of groceries several times. The issues were endless and I can’t even get my check. The only reason I was notified it was sent to this other address is so the people living there can obtain my new location because they were arrested for domestic violence for attacking me when going to my previous address unannounced, yet this is the position Spark and Walmart are putting me in as I’m taunted by these people.

I’ve explained this to Spark politely so many times and requested for my check to be sent out to the address they now have on file. There are no issues with verifying my account. I continue to follow all of their instructions. PLEASE ADVISE; WHAT MORE CAN I POSSIBLY DO?

WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT? I even looked into PO Boxes!!! But they cost more than it’d be worth; sometimes it’s about the principle. How many more hours do I need to spend on the phone to be hung up on?

Why send another email when I did EXACTLY what the reps told me to, to be completely ignored again??! Why is this so difficult. Why aren’t I allowed my earnings?!? I’m not the one who prevented myself from receiving my earnings in the first place.

Can this be resolved? Why am I given false phone numbers to call? Why aren’t I allowed to speak to a rep who can or may actually assist me? Why was a survey completed that I certainly did not fill out?

Why does Walmart claim they don’t have a HR department? Why can’t I receive my earnings? Why won’t you respond to my emails; I’ve emailed that same account before when you wouldn’t send me my 1099. If I’m following exactly what I’m supposed to, as I’m told by multiple reps, then what is the problem?

Is it acceptable to hang up on someone repeatedly who has spent hours trying to obtain their earnings? Would you like me to pay for the stamp??? Will that resolve this? I even forwarded Spark the email I received from the people who opened my mail to tell me I was sent this check!!!

They told me 2 months later!!! Are you suggesting I put myself at risk when they won’t mail it to me regardless???

Perhaps you can take a few seconds to respond, in fact, even though I don’t drive for Spark anymore, I continue to be a Walmart customer, but I guess that doesn’t mean anything.

I don’t expect fair treatment as an employee anymore (just generally speaking) but at the very least have some decency for customers. Do you not value your customers in addition to your employees regardless if they’re contract or not???!

So if it’s ok with you, may I please receive my earnings…also I have asked if there is anything else I need to do to have the check be sent to the correct address, I’ve included ALL information in my emails as well…but you refuse to respond…..

User's recommendation: Don’t drive for Spark, they send orders that have already been fulfilled and blame it on glitches and make you wait in your vehicle for hours…that’s all unpaid…nevermind the damage to your vehicle, they told me to keep trying to find an apartment one time when I was lost at night in a dangerous area by myself (young small female), I told them I felt unsafe and the rep couldn’t care less, you mean nothing to them (so I guess it’s like every job out there, except with Spark you have to damage and pay for your vehicle too!!! And be put in dangerous situations)

Relatable. When I moved I never received my tax forms either, I called them numerous times, I was given conflicting information, and now I'm wondering if I'm owed back pay too.

Spark Driver Review (First-Time Applicant – Duplicate Issue)I am a first-time applicant to Spark Driver. I have never worked with Spark before, and I have never created an account in the past.

But when I tried to apply, the system told me that my application is “duplicate” or that an account already exists. This is not true — this is my very first time applying.Because of this error, I cannot finish the application, cannot move forward, and cannot start working at all. I contacted Spark support, but I only received automatic replies and no real solution.

They didn’t explain why the system thinks I have another account.I tried using a different email, reinstalling the app, and restarting the application, but the error is still there. This is very frustrating because I just want to complete my first application and start working.I hope Spark Driver fixes this issue and clears the duplicate message so new applicants like me can successfully finish the onboarding process.

He dropped off my food at someone else's porch. I mean how hard is it to follow instructions using the GPS? I mean it shouldn't be that hard right? I've already submitted a complaint with Walmart regarding this issue and now I'm letting you know..If I need to talk to someone else can you please put me in the right direction?

I am a type 2 diabetes woman and I needed my food and I wasn't going to walk blocks just to figure out where this house was at.I mean you couldn't even see my items either.

Other drivers take a clear photo with all my food by my front door. That's not even my house..smh..

I am writing to resolve an ongoing issue with my driver application. While completing the first of the four steps for background verification, the app froze immediately after I entered my information.

When I attempted to reload the Spark Driver app a few minutes later, I received the message: 'Your sign-on request was not approved.' I have communicated this multiple times, but the issue remains unsolved. Since the app froze before I could successfully submit my details, I believe this denial is a technical error rather than a background check result.

Please reset my application status so I can complete the remaining steps. I have attached a screenshot of the error message for your reference.

I called this morning for my app issues. Issue Trip 0189.

I had an order for delivery. But after taking all the products in the cart, concerned Walmart staff said that the customer canceled the order and she took all the cart to her desk. I informed this message to the customer as well. Now, in the system, it is still showing that I need to return products to the store.

Where I didn’t take the products, how can I return those to the store? Please solve this issue as soon as possible for making my new trip. I also informed one customer care representative and she replied that she sent this issue to the technical support team.

Please solve this issue ASAP. Thank you.

The app won't let me download my ID after saying I was approved for my insurance memorization. That isn't worth the time and effort anymore.

Driver hit my mailbox and drove off. I stopped him in my neighbors yard and confronted him and he refused to fix mailbox and said he didnt have a job while delivering a Walmart order.

I have it all on camera and a police report was filed against him. Have his tag number and pictures and video of him hitting mailbox.

The driver Jose was lost and driving in circles when I tracked my order on Sams app. It showed when I tracked the order he sat for an hour and a half somewhere because he was lost then canceled my order at around 7;45 and lied to you and Sams Club and said I wasn't home which was a complete lie!

Spark needs to go back to the app tracking his drive here like I did and you'll see him driving in circles from 6:23 pm around my property about 6 times then parked near by and it said he was 1 minute away from me. I even went out and drove around my property where it showed him parked for over 1 hr looking for his vehicle and he was nowhere to be found. Common sense tells you if he rang my buzzer at 6:23 the time it said he should be here and I wasn't home why would he stay parked 1 minute away from my condo it showed me on the app for almost 1 1/2 hrs if I wasn't home. Seriously, he needs to be fired for lying to you and Sams Club!

I have a 0 tolerance for liars! Two other times they didn't even bother going to pick up my order from Sams Club and I never received my orders! I have complained every time to Sams Club and honestly I don't know why they keep Spark as their delivery company. Unless you're Spanish, you cant even understand any of the drivers which is very frustrating to me as well.

Honestly, the driver should've called their company to reach out to me so I could help them guide him here since he was lost. No one ever gets lost coming to my condo, especially in this day and age with GPS to guide them here, but theres a first time for everything! If he doesn't have GPS he shouldn't be a delivery driver!

Spark is the worst delivery company ever! To bad were stuck with this delivery service until Sams Club gets enough complaints and switches companies!

Preferred solution: I would like them to fire Jose, who lied to Spark and Sam’s Club and said I was not home when he was actually lost! I would also like an apology from Spark and also know what consequences Jose got for lying!

Definitely report them to Sam’s Club or Walmart whichever store you got your delivery from because Spark said they can’t do anything about it and you have to call Sam’s Club and complain! The more complaints Sam’s Club receives on inadequate, spark drivers the more likely they will find a better delivery company. You cannot say that it is not allowing you to use capital letters because you have used capital letters. Now you have to admit that you are a STUPID IDIOT and have poor English.You cannot ie your way out of that. The only LIAR is you. I feel sorry for you wanting someone fired and bashing others for their English when your is poor.

Sam's and that's should contain an apostrophe same with you'll, there's and that's. You missed the comma after the word hr. So before bashing them for their English, work on your own English. Go back to first grade, Your English is not good either.

You made a total of FOURTEEN errors in your post. Maybe you cannoot understand them because your own English is poor. Also get an adult to click on that person's username and you will see that they have replies to OTHER COMPANIES as well.

Do they work there as well? You really are SLOW.

Funny it wouldn’t let me use apostrophes so you can count how many are missing if you’d like but I tried to even correct this post and it still left the apostrophes out! So do me a favor and GFY!!!

If you don’t like my constructive criticism in my review then keep scrolling. All you and the other person commenting here do is put down people who have complaints on this sight. You just joined this site and the other person did the other day and it shows they haven’t left 1 review and only comments putting other people’s reviews down and arguing with them! Please go find something better to do than be the grammar nazi and negative Nelly!

Just because I said I get frustrated with not being able to understand the non English speaking person doesn’t mean I put them down because I did not! It’s called a language barrier!
