Verified Reviewer |Refusal to send former driver check for backpay/tips
I have been asking Spark support since 12/3/25 to send my check for backpay (which drivers should have received while working) and have been completely disregarded. I followed all instructions.
They sent it to the wrong address and I can’t obtain my check, I’ve explained all details to more reps then I can keep track of and have spent hours trying to receive my check. I have verified myself and emailed the correct address twice (12/3 and 12/9) with no response. I have been hung up on multiple times. I called Walmart for support today 12/28/25; that rep gave me the wrong phone numbers and told me to contact Spark for their HR department’s phone number.
When I did this I was hung up on again. The Spark rep must have been too busy with all of the noise of screaming children I could hear in the background and she kept trying to explain to me that no HR department exists. Then the Walmart rep I spoke to sent me an email with a survey. Although I opened the survey I did not fill it out, yet somehow it’s completed…..I certainly did not complete the survey to review his horrible service, where he gave me phone numbers that don’t exist.
What more can I possibly do? Why aren’t I allowed to have my check for money I earned when I delivered for Spark??? I followed all of their instructions to obtain the check. The moment I was notified this check was sent to the wrong address in the mail I contacted Spark.
When I call Spark I go around in circles and am told to do exactly what I have already done, and then the reps either hang up on me or tell me they’re talking to a level 1 or “now a level 2 account manager”, transfer me, and then they hang up on me. It doesn’t matter how polite I am, if I request to speak to someone else. It does not matter what I do; they simply refuse to send my check to the correct address. It will be voided in a week, I’m assuming that’s what they want.
It’s not even a large check but it’s income I earned and deserve.
I have spent hours attempting to resolve this and they have no interest in correcting the problem. It’s like I’m talking to fake reps because the information they give me is so ridiculous and the transferring and hanging up on me is so incredibly rude I don’t even know how to interpret these actions. What more can I possibly do? Was it not enough that I spent more on gas and wore down my vehicle at the time, accepting orders that didn’t exist; this occurred repeatedly.
I received more fake orders than real. I even went shopping to have the orders cancelled while on my way to the locations with a car load of groceries several times. The issues were endless and I can’t even get my check. The only reason I was notified it was sent to this other address is so the people living there can obtain my new location because they were arrested for domestic violence for attacking me when going to my previous address unannounced, yet this is the position Spark and Walmart are putting me in as I’m taunted by these people.
I’ve explained this to Spark politely so many times and requested for my check to be sent out to the address they now have on file. There are no issues with verifying my account. I continue to follow all of their instructions. PLEASE ADVISE; WHAT MORE CAN I POSSIBLY DO?
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT? I even looked into PO Boxes!!! But they cost more than it’d be worth; sometimes it’s about the principle. How many more hours do I need to spend on the phone to be hung up on?
Why send another email when I did EXACTLY what the reps told me to, to be completely ignored again??! Why is this so difficult. Why aren’t I allowed my earnings?!? I’m not the one who prevented myself from receiving my earnings in the first place.
Can this be resolved? Why am I given false phone numbers to call? Why aren’t I allowed to speak to a rep who can or may actually assist me? Why was a survey completed that I certainly did not fill out?
Why does Walmart claim they don’t have a HR department? Why can’t I receive my earnings? Why won’t you respond to my emails; I’ve emailed that same account before when you wouldn’t send me my 1099. If I’m following exactly what I’m supposed to, as I’m told by multiple reps, then what is the problem?
Is it acceptable to hang up on someone repeatedly who has spent hours trying to obtain their earnings? Would you like me to pay for the stamp??? Will that resolve this? I even forwarded Spark the email I received from the people who opened my mail to tell me I was sent this check!!!
They told me 2 months later!!! Are you suggesting I put myself at risk when they won’t mail it to me regardless???
Perhaps you can take a few seconds to respond, in fact, even though I don’t drive for Spark anymore, I continue to be a Walmart customer, but I guess that doesn’t mean anything.
I don’t expect fair treatment as an employee anymore (just generally speaking) but at the very least have some decency for customers. Do you not value your customers in addition to your employees regardless if they’re contract or not???!
So if it’s ok with you, may I please receive my earnings…also I have asked if there is anything else I need to do to have the check be sent to the correct address, I’ve included ALL information in my emails as well…but you refuse to respond…..

User's recommendation: Don’t drive for Spark, they send orders that have already been fulfilled and blame it on glitches and make you wait in your vehicle for hours…that’s all unpaid…nevermind the damage to your vehicle, they told me to keep trying to find an apartment one time when I was lost at night in a dangerous area by myself (young small female), I told them I felt unsafe and the rep couldn’t care less, you mean nothing to them (so I guess it’s like every job out there, except with Spark you have to damage and pay for your vehicle too!!! And be put in dangerous situations)

Spark Driver Review (First-Time Applicant – Duplicate Issue)I am a first-time applicant to Spark Driver. I have never worked with Spark before, and I have never created an account in the past.
But when I tried to apply, the system told me that my application is “duplicate” or that an account already exists. This is not true — this is my very first time applying.Because of this error, I cannot finish the application, cannot move forward, and cannot start working at all. I contacted Spark support, but I only received automatic replies and no real solution.
They didn’t explain why the system thinks I have another account.I tried using a different email, reinstalling the app, and restarting the application, but the error is still there. This is very frustrating because I just want to complete my first application and start working.I hope Spark Driver fixes this issue and clears the duplicate message so new applicants like me can successfully finish the onboarding process.

He dropped off my food at someone else's porch. I mean how hard is it to follow instructions using the GPS? I mean it shouldn't be that hard right? I've already submitted a complaint with Walmart regarding this issue and now I'm letting you know..If I need to talk to someone else can you please put me in the right direction?
I am a type 2 diabetes woman and I needed my food and I wasn't going to walk blocks just to figure out where this house was at.I mean you couldn't even see my items either.
Other drivers take a clear photo with all my food by my front door. That's not even my house..smh..

Driver hit my mailbox and drove off. I stopped him in my neighbors yard and confronted him and he refused to fix mailbox and said he didnt have a job while delivering a Walmart order.
I have it all on camera and a police report was filed against him. Have his tag number and pictures and video of him hitting mailbox.

Im not normally a person to write a bad review but in this case I felt it might be the only way to make a change happen and warn other customers. This delivery service is terrible.
The drivers repeatedly turn around in my grass instead of backing out of the drive, wrecking my lawn. One even hit my mailbox, smashing the post, and then drove off!
They dont speak or read English and so they dont follow the instructions on where to put the delivery, and they cant communicate to resolve problems. They are often late and deliver the wrong items. Lodging complaints with Walmart has not changed anything, and I have finally cancelled my membership.
It seemed like a great deal, but its too much trouble; the cost adds up in other ways like cleanup and stress, and half the time I have to go shop anyway to get the items I need. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere!

I had too go too some one house too pick up my delivery that was 20 minutes away from my location. I tried to call the delivery guy and he refused to answer the phone because I was yelling at him because he deliver my groceries to somebody else’s house and I was frustrated and very upset.
How I feel about this current situation Im pretty pissed off. I spent over $200 on groceries for it to be left at somebody elses house and then the driver refuses to go get my groceries and bring them to the right address. I think he should be fired.

Quisiera aclarar que esta es la primera vez que intento registrarme en Spark Driver. Durante el proceso inicial de inscripción, por error y por falta de experiencia con la aplicación, intenté completar el registro en más de una ocasión y terminé creando aproximadamente tres cuentas.
Además, es posible que en alguno de esos intentos haya ingresado algún dato incorrecto sin darme cuenta.
Como consecuencia de esta situación, actualmente mi registro aparece con el estado Registro no aprobado, lo cual me impide continuar con el proceso de verificación y activación como conductor.
Reconozco que el problema fue un error involuntario de mi parte y quiero dejar claro que no fue mi intención incumplir las políticas de Spark Driver ni crear múltiples cuentas.
Mi único objetivo es poder registrarme correctamente y trabajar de forma honesta y responsable en la plataforma.
Por este motivo, les solicito muy amablemente si pueden revisar mi caso y ayudarme a reiniciar el proceso de registro, eliminando o desactivando las cuentas duplicadas asociadas a mi información, para que pueda continuar con un solo registro correcto y completo.
Estoy totalmente dispuesto a proporcionar cualquier información adicional que sea necesaria para verificar mi identidad y facilitar la solución de este inconveniente.

I had an order that was 113$, with 303 items shopping, so I went in and shopped for all 303 items. Once I got done shopping, I was bagging the order as prompted on the app, got half way done, bagging at that point was in Walmart for about 3 to 3 1/2 hours shopping and bagging the items.
And was half done bagging at about 200 items bagged so far. To look on the app to a notification saying order canceled due to inactivity on app, so contacted spark support and asked why they canceled the order while I was bagging and they said its a auto cancel feature and I wasnt using the app for a while so the order cancels.
Which is completely crazy to me considering I had to bag 303 items so obviously I wouldnt be on the app just app just tapping the screen while trying to bag 303 items, so they said I would receive a cancellation fee for the inconvenience, which was 2$ and 12 cents for a 113$ order that was 4 hours total of shopping and bagging. All I got was 2$ and 12 cents ![]()

The driver buy the name of Carlos stole 20 items from my order after taking a photo as it was fully delivered
One of your delivery drivers by the name of Carlos delivered 131 items to my door yesterday and took a picture of the items in front of the door. I was literally on the next street over, about to pull in to take the groceries inside.
By the time I pulled up, he was gone and so were 20 items from my order. He removed 20 items from my porch, put them back in his car, and kept on going like it was nothing.
Walmart keeps telling me they're not going to issue a refund, and that's not fair to me and my children. Something has to be done.

I have gotten in contact with Park driver support by phone and email. That is the only way I can get a hold of them because the app will not let me go any further.
They keep telling me to go to the app and go to support, but I cannot. The app will not go anywhere else besides denying me, and there is no reason for denial. I have my license, car insurance, and a nice vehicle.
I have asked for help several times. Somebody was supposed to get back a hold of me when I got a hold of somebody on the phone, but nobody ever did.

Been trying to get a hold of Spark Driver support. I have emailed several times because I cannot get any further on the app.
The bot keeps telling me to go to chat support on the app, but I am not even signed up yet. It has denied me sign-up, which makes no sense when I have car insurance, no criminal background, and a license, along with a nice vehicle.
I have no way to get in touch with Spark Driver support. The app will not go any further.
